Overview

Hampden is a large southeast Denver neighborhood along Hampden Avenue between I-25 and the Cherry Creek State Park area, with the Denver Tech Center minutes south. This guide also covers the neighboring Hampden South and Kennedy areas, which share the same corridor, parks, and housing mix. Hampden South sits between I-25 and the Hampden corridor, and Kennedy includes Kennedy Golf Course. The High Line Canal Trail, Southmoor light rail station, and Tiffany Plaza shopping anchor the area, and Cherry Creek Reservoir is a short drive east.

Homes You'll Find

Hampden offers one of the widest ranges of home types in southeast Denver. Single-family homes are mostly 1960s and 1970s ranches, bi-levels, and two-stories, with some newer construction near the parks. Attached homes make up a large share of sales, from 1970s and 1980s condos and townhomes to newer townhome communities along Hampden Avenue and near the light rail stations.
